What’s Up?

The Ethan Allen Youth group went with the IMHC to Indian Creek and Triumph Stables in Columbia City. Those in attendance were: Erika and Jenna Litz, Gabby and Hannah Fluhler with mom Dawn, Erin Olinger with mom Jo, Anna Luke, Erica Frazee and Katie Frazee with parents Eric and Julia Frazee. Horses were demonstrated in many disciplines as John and Belle Hufferd and Kurt Hufferd, along with Shanna Gish, explained various rules and what you should look like in a class . We saw new babies and gorgeous stallions too! A fantastic lunch was provided by Triumph Stables and Indian Creek! It was a great time and a big THANK YOU goes to Triumph Stables, Indian Creek and The Quilhot family for allowing us to come! We know a lot of work went in to preparing for this super event.

 

Youth Spotlight

Gabby Fluhler
 

Gabby, 9 yrs. old, was born in St. Louis. Her family moved to Muncie in 2000 to live closer to grandparents. She has a twin sister, Hannah and brother, Luke. She attends Burris school and her favorite class is gym. Gabby is involved in Girl Scouts, violin and tap. She is very active at First Presbyterian Church. Horses are Gabby’s favorite thing in the whole wide world ~ one might call it her passion! She has been riding horses at Victory Stables for four years. Last summer she participated in her first horse show at Hartmeyers, later taking 1st place in her second horse show. Emmy is her favorite horse and the very horse Gabby was riding when she won her blue ribbon! Gabby loves to canter and trot on Emmy and she also enjoys grooming her. One day, Gabby would love to own a horse of her own and she also aspires to be a veterinarian or horse farmer someday!
