Feature Photo of the Month
The Dollard family
had a very successful time at the Johnson County Fair. Kaecee
Dollard (shown above), was 3rd in a big (15+) class of hunter
pleasure riders. She was 1st in equitation and then won overall
equitation champion. Her younger sister, Chelsea, showed for the
first time in years and it paid off as she got 1st in her pleasure
class and 1st in equitation. Congratulations to both girls!

IMHC Fall Meeting - November 15th
The Fall meeting was a great success. Superb Chilies for the
competition, great Photographs for the contest, fabulous
conversation with fellow Morgan friends.
June IMHC Volunteer Month
IMHC designated June club community service month! Here are a few
examples. On Tuesday, June 17, club members Dave Hicks, Sharon
Hicks, and Sara Rhodes braved the heat to help at Reins of Life
Therapeutic Riding Center. They stripped all of the stalls to help
clean the facility for their upcoming accreditation. Reins of Life
was very grateful for the support, especially since it had been a
busy month juggling regular lessons, not one but two charity horse
shows, and a charity golf outing!
Leah Borders continued helping with the care and placement of 6
horses that were seized by the local animal shelter early this
summer. Leah helped provide care and drum up donations of food,
halters, and other supplies for their temporary care. She is happy
to report that all 6 horses have been permanently placed.
