Fluhler, The March meeting brought our largest group of members together this 2008 year. Due to the weather, we were missing Amber Taylor and Erin Olinger. The towns of Muncie, Yorktown and Ft. Wayne are represented by our members. Our meeting started with watching the beginning of the Hidalgo movie. Snacks were chocolate bunnies, carrots with veggie dip and Kool-aid. Erica started the meeting by welcoming the members. The girls discussed several ideas for community service projects. Anna is researching a therapeutic riding center and Erica is going to contact Whitney Porter about a previous project done for Angel Heart Farms in Tennessee. The girls were very interested in making the heart pendants again. They will then be sold at various events and the proceeds will be sent to Angel Heart Farms. Pendants could possibly be made at the next meeting if the materials come in. The girls are planning a bake sale at Victory Stables in Muncie during the Delaware County 4-H Horse & Pony clinic. Erica will seek approval from the 4-H club to have the sale. The EAY will be working the IMHC booth on Saturday, April 5th during the Hoosier Horse Fair in Indianapolis from 11:00-1:00. Anyone interested in EAY, please come by and talk with us! After that, shopping, eating, shopping, eating and the rodeo!!!!
